I’ll be the first to admit, I’m a toy freak. Tried them all. Ball monogrammers, every variation of every tee ever made, glasses that help you read the greens. They all eventually make it to the garbage bin, or in a box in the closet, never to see the light again. A couple months ago, I saw this:
How could I pass on this?
It’s “As seen on NBC Sports”.(humour !)
My girlfriend organizes a golf tournament every year and she picked up a few of these as prizes. You know the ones, something to give away so everybody feels like they won something. So, I grabbed one for myself and have been using it for a couple months now. $20, no big deal. Opened it up and here’s what you get:
Now before I go any further, this isn’t the biggest golf accessory review since the internet started. Most people would’nt bother getting something like this, but I’ve got to say it’s helped when it was needed. It simply hangs off of the handle of my push cart, and is there when I need it. Instructions are simple enough:
Playing in the mud is part of playing golf in Vancouver. So often I pull out an iron and of course it’s dirty, especially in the grooves. A quick dunk and swipe against the bristles surrounding the opening of the Aqua Caddy, and you’re good to go. A towel just doesn’t do the same job as dunking it in water.
Sure I get a few laughs from the guys, but it works, and works well. It does look a little corny, but having a clean club on demand isn’t, so that’s why I’m keeping it. At the end of your round, just turn it inside out(after dumping the water), and it ready for the next round.
